ABOUT US

MISSION

The Ever Collective is a non-profit organization committed to bringing meaning into the art we surround ourselves with by creating a collective of story-telling art pieces created by artists from around the world.

Our mission is to integrate artwork into the world of healthcare by facilitating the creation of art installations and pop-up galleries in hospitals and clinics to improve patient outcomes and support local artists along the way.

OUR STORY

Art plays a fundamental role in bringing people together and enhancing how we experience life together. Expanding the integration of art into the healthcare field will improve patient outcomes both physically and emotionally by increasing physical activity, preventing patient boredom, delirium and more.

The mission of the Ever Collective is to bring meaning into the art we surround ourselves with everyday. We do this by embedding multimedia elements such as video, audio and written stories into each art piece to share the stories behind the artists and their work and showcase them in “pop-up” galleries in hospitals and clinics.

Through our online shop, we are creating a platform that supports local artists and meaningful pieces that tell a story. Our current collection of artwork is focused around artists who have a healthcare story to share.

Founder’s Statement

Over the last three years I have lived in four different cities with one of my biggest struggles being “what artwork do I put on my walls.” I knew I didn’t want to purchase art that I didn't have a personal connection to or know the story behind. I started to notice that other people in my life such as friends and family also had art in their homes without knowing the background of the piece or the artist.

As a nursing student, I have cared for many patients who had little to stimulate their mind and body during their hospital stay. I hoped to create something on the unit to motivate and distract them from thoughts of their illness.

I started the Ever Collective as a way to support local artists while also supporting a good cause, and connecting the world of art with healthcare.
